Ripley's Believe It or Not! ® Museum San Francisco
In 1933, almost 2 million people visited Ripley's first "Odditorium" at the Chicago World's Fair. Inside, there were posters of Ripley's Believe It or Not! and cartoons, as well as artifacts from his travels and live performers. The San Francisco Ripley's features two floors and more than 10,000 square feet filled with the strange, the unusual, and the unbelievable! See in person the incredible "Believe It or Nots" you've read about in the Ripley books and cartoons and seen on television. There is a careful balance between the strange, the shocking, and the beautiful. See the Matchstick Cable Car - Made by gluing 270,836 matchsticks together, a Stegosaurus created using chrome car bumpers― or a Van Gogh portrait made out of toasted bread.

San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, is home to more than 250 internationally
renowned personalities. A millennium of history is represented in fabulous
scenes from the birth of Christ through the most dramatic milestones in man's
history.
As one of the world's largest wax museums, this attraction endeavors to show
life in all its aspects from A to Z (Artists to Zombies)! Guests are inspired
by the Last Supper in the Hall of Religions, and Horrified by the chilling
Chamber of Horrors. See the wax tableaux of King Tut's Magnificent Tomb and
the Palace of Living Arts, where history's most famous masters, as well as
their masterpieces, come to life. As always, the President occupies his place
among the World Leaders, a few steps away from his predecessors in the Presidential
Library.
USS Pampanito Submarine Tour
USS Pampanito (SS-383) is a World War II Balao-class Fleet submarine, museum
and memorial that is open for visitors daily. The Pampanito was
built in 1943 at the Navy Yard Portsmouth, New Hampshire, in just 9 months,
and at a cost of $6 million. She was one of the most advanced fighting systems
of her day. Pampanito made six patrols in the Pacific during World
War II, during which she sank six Japanese ships and damaged four others.
Pampanito is being restored to a specific point in time, late summer, 1945,
to represent the height of WW II submarine development. With the exception
of the hatch and ladders used by visitors to enter and leave her, the submarine
is virtually as she was in 1945.
Aquarium of the Bay at PIER 39

Boudin at The Wharf Sourdough Bakery Museum and Tour
Before Fisherman’s Wharf was even on the map, the Boudin French Bakery
was making bread for San Franciscans. Through a compelling array of
historic photos, artifacts, and interactive exhibits, you will discover the
history of Boudin, the events and personalities surrounding its origins,
and the art and science behind our original San Francisco Sourdough.
The bakery at the Wharf includes a 30-foot observation window along Jefferson
Street, and a glass-walled catwalk suspended directly over the action. Watch
as the flour is pumped at high velocity from our on-site silo directly into
the mixer, and as the dough is tossed from the mezzanine to the ground floor,
where it is hand-finished and baked into nearly 10,000 loaves of fresh sourdough,
French, and European hearth breads every day.

The San Francisco Carousel on PIER 39 features hand-painted ceiling panels of San Francisco’s famous landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, Chinatown, Alcatraz, and the popular California sea lions at PIER 39.
